The art of living – coaching as a valuable tool

What does ‘a good life' mean to you? When do you feel fulfilled? Defining a life well lived, is a deeply personal journey. It is for each of us to figure that out for ourselves. Fortunately, there are numerous helpful tools and practices available to support us in this process.


To begin answering this question, it's often helpful to first consider its opposite: what constitutes a life not well lived? Here are some aspects that come to mind:

  • Living a life that doesn't align with your core values and desires, losing touch with your authentic self.

  • Constantly striving for the next big thing, perpetually stressed and unable to appreciate the present moment.

  • Treating yourself harshly, neglecting your body, mind, and soul, denying them the love and care they deserve.

  • A life that drains your energy, where you don’t sleep well and often feel depleted

  • Being full of regret and resentment, feeling stuck in the past

  • Having a lot of fear, always fixated on the future and one step ahead
